During normal operation, the ATM runs from available utility power while the system helps stabilise incoming supply. When the grid fails, the cabinet automatically transfers the ATM load to battery backup, helping maintain service continuity without manual intervention. When grid power returns, the system reconnects and recharges automatically.

For sites with solar potential, optional PV can support the live ATM load and recharge the battery during the day, reducing dependency on unstable grid supply and unnecessary generator runtime.
